IT Services segment provides IT services to large and medium-sized Russian and CIS customers and government agencies by designing and implementing IT solutions for clients which serve to increase the efficiency and transparency of their business.
Through its Consulting business line, the Group provides consulting services to analyse the clients' business processes and advise on how a client's IT system should be designed. The Group's Management Information Systems business line designs, customises and provides software and IT infrastructure. The Group's IT infrastructure business line provides design, delivery and supply of computer platforms, networking equipment and data storage systems. For clients who want to outsource all or part of their IT, the IT outsourcing business line provides outsourced IT solutions to support and service clients' software and hardware needs. These business lines are supported by centralised sales, marketing, human resources, finance and IT functions.
Geographically, the IT Services segment offers its products and services mainly in Russia also in Belarus and Ukraine, where the Group operates through joint ventures established with local partners.
The IT Services segment of the Group generated revenues of USD 310.7 Million and an EBITDA of USD 12.5 Million in the year ended 31 March 2010. The IT Services segment achieved revenues from external customers of USD 309.2 Million, equal to 62% of the revenue of the Group and contributed 36% to the EBITDA of all business segments (excluding intersegment revenues).
As of 31 March 2010 the Group employed approximately 2,670 employees in its IT Services segment and has long and well established relations with key industry vendors such as Cisco, Dell, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle and SAP.
