History and Milestones
2007 IBS and Borlas Consulting Group announce merger. Consolidation of resources of the leading IT services market players secured absolute leadership in the market for the merged team. 84 of Russia's top 100 companies are customers of the merged company.
2006 Luxoft acquired New York-based IT Consulting International (ITCI), a company which has been providing IT outsourcing, on-site staffing and project management services to Fortune 500 and middle market businesses since 1993.
2005 As of 14 November 2005 the Group completed a private placement of 7,029,500 ordinary shares in the form of Global Depositary Receipts, which currently comprise approximately 30.5% of the Group's share capital.
2005 Luxoft expanded its operations to Kiev, Ukraine. The Group undertook restructuring and spun-off certain Venture Projects.
2004 Depo became the number one manufacturer of PCs in Russia by the number of units sold.
2003 The Group started PC manufacturing under the Depo brand, and Deacom, a direct sales division, was established. Luxoft obtained CMM and CMMI level 5 quality certificates.
2002 IBS SI began promoting IT outsourcing services under the Data Fort brand. The Group obtained long-term financing from the International Finance Corporation.
2001 Luxoft opened a sales office in the US.
2000 The Group established Luxoft to provide offshore programming services. IBS SI became a Golden Partner of Cisco and a Local Alliance Partner of SAP.
1998 IBS SI started its SAP R/3 business practice.
1997 IBS SI signed a contract for the gas stations automation with British Petroleum in Russia. AIG-Brunswick fund became a shareholder of the Group.
1996 The Group became an exclusive dealer for the Dell Computer Corporation in Russia.
1995 The Group started hardware distribution through its subsidiary Dealine.
1994 The Group started to provide systems integration services.
1992 Information Business Systems Company, now referred to as IBS SI, was established on November 2, 1992.
